I may not always be perfect, but this is why I'm a teacher.

I just got this email from a student:

"we are doing a code of arms in sociology and one thing that he wanted on it was, someone that had the greatest impact in your life, and i drew a picture of you:) you had the greatest POSITIVE Impact and my mom had the greatest NEGATIVE impact in my life. You did the best thing anyone has ever done in my ENTIRE life and i CANNOT thank you enough. THANK YOU!:) just thought i'd let you know."

Wow. This same student wrote me a thank you card that still makes me cry every time I read it. This is why I'm a teacher.
