Faking it

I had a random student (not one of mine) pass through my room today and ask how long I have been teaching. When I told her that I have been teaching for, oh, a little less than a month, I expected her to say something snotty like, "I thought so." Instead, she told me that she was very impressed because whenever she passes through my room, "It always looks like you know exactly what you're doing."

Direct quote. It made me happy, so I just had to share.
